Portugal Home is made by Rui Matos, trading as Portugal Vivo Apps, in Portugal, and support goes straight to us. There's no ticket queue and no chatbot in between.
We aim to reply within two business days, Portugal time.

Common questions
I paid, but the app still shows locked places
Open Settings and choose Restore a purchase. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so this is also how you unlock the app on a second iPhone without paying twice. Make sure you're signed into the App Store with the same account you bought it on.
Purchases aren't shared through Family Sharing
Each Apple Account restores its own purchase. If your household shares one Apple Account for the App Store, everyone on it already shares the purchase; separate accounts don't.
A place I expected isn't in the app yet
The dataset launches with a limited set of places, each one checked against a named, dated source — not filled in automatically. If somewhere you care about is missing, tell us; places get added as the research gets done.
Will my saved list survive a reinstall?
Saved places and purchase status live in local iPhone app storage on the device you set it up on. Uninstalling clears them, and there's no cloud sync yet, so your saved list doesn't follow you between devices. Your purchase does — restore it from Settings.
Is this affiliated with the Portuguese government or INE?
No. Portugal Home is an independent app. It cites INE (Portugal's national statistics institute) and property-listing sites as sources for its data, but it isn't produced or endorsed by either.
System requirements
- iOS 15 or later
- An internet connection is not required after the app is installed — the dataset ships with the app
Full storage requirements will be confirmed once the app is built and submitted.
Refunds
Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple under their refund process. Write to us anyway if something went wrong. We'd rather hear about it.
Privacy
The app collects nothing: no account, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. It makes one network request, to download its own content file, and that request carries nothing about you and uploads nothing. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
